Learn to Meditate
Mindful Meditation is the deliberate focusing of attention for a time to exercise the mind in the skills of awareness, focus, concentration and self-compassion.
The purpose of the practice is to make the mind calm and peaceful so that we can find ourselves free from worry and we can create the opportunity to experience equilibrium and true happiness.
There are many ways to meditate, including focusing on the breath, sensations in the body, sound, or using mantra or movement.
Mindful Meditation can be done sitting still, moving around or participating in an activity such as yoga while maintaining self-awareness.
