Holistic Counselling

Kinesiology & Holistic Counselling can help you to gain clarity and perspective on your problems.

Do you want to gain control over your emotional state and find peace of mind?

Holistic Counselling is a talking therapy that involves you, and your coach. Your counsellor engages in a relationship with you that involves listening, challenging and helping you to work through issues, enabling you to remove stress and anxiety and improve your quality of life.
Counselling involves helping you, the client to be proactive and move towards positive change through the use of proven strategies and self-empowerment techniques.

The way we practice counselling at Affinity Wellnes is holistic in nature in as much as it takes into account the whole person including their emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical environments.

We use a person centred, goal-oriented approach to approach the management of stress associated physical and emotional health-care concerns. Incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt and Solution-focused therapies. This means that we are committed to helping you feel empowered enough to understand your problems, create your own goals and achieve them by creating your own solutions.

What makes us different from other counselling practices is that your counsellor at Affinity is holistically trained in understanding the links between mind, body and spirit, incorporating an intuitional approach. Your counsellor is qualified to help you with your concerns focusing on all levels (physical, nutritional, emotional and spiritual).  We know that change and healing happen more rapidly when we take care of our bodies as well as our minds.

Note: Counsellors do not prescribe medication, or make diagnoses.

We do NOT provide a crisis counselling service, if you have an issue that needs immediate attention please call Life Line on 13 11 14. Calls will only be accepted during business hours and not on public holidays.
