Nutritional Kinesiology Melbourne

Nutritional Wellness through kinesiology.

Nutritional kinesiology is a nutrition-focused form of inner work. It is a culmination of philosophies and techniques and encompasses procedures from Nutritional Science and Holistic Kinesiology, incorporating the energetic sciences.

You are what you eat.

Everything that you put into your body becomes a part of who you are on a physical and energetic level. Your cells are a product of the nutrients they have been able to derive from your diet.

We live in a world where food is mass-produced in nutrient-deficient soil and transported over long distances. Our food is over-processed, preserved, and chemical enhancers added. When it gets to the table, we find ourselves consuming nutrient-deficient calories. Processed foods do not contain the building blocks of life and are one of the key causes of illness. The nutrients we eat are the building blocks of our cells, and nutrient deprivation leads to poor bodily function.

Nutritional kinesiology sessions can help determine what nutrients your body is missing. It can also help you to understand what chemicals and nutrients you may have accumulated in your system at toxic levels.

Nutritional kinesiology can uncover blocks in the digestion and assimilation process. It also points to blockages in energy systems that may account for digestive disturbances.

Kinesiology can also help to determine the right type of foods and supplements for your body.

I do not subscribe to any particular dietary plan. I believe everybody has different requirements and needs; I assess your needs on an individual basis to help you achieve optimum wellness.

Supplementation

Food is always the first consideration however, where you cannot derive the nutrients you need from food, I advocate supplementation. I don’t stock nutritional supplements. Instead, I suggest that you purchase any supplements required through health food stores or online.

I will supply you with relevant information regarding recommended brands. I always recommend that you follow up and supplement recommendations with your primary medical provider.

Hydration

Water makes up, up to 70% of your body and without it, you can not live. Water is such a significant component of who we are, but we don’t often consider the quality of the water we are drinking. As with your food, your drinking water is filtered, processed and contains several chemical additives that can have a detrimental effect on your health.

Physiologically water is important for maintaining the health of our connective tissue, the foundation of our physical structure.

For Kinesiology, clients must be well hydrated before they experience a session.

I recommend that adults drink at least eight glasses of filtered water per day.

So many of us have food addictions and disorders that reflect a negative way of seeing the self. You may use food as punishment or a crutch; kinesiology can help you investigate and clear these issues to create a healthy relationship with food.

The below disorders are linked to nutritional deficiencies and gut health.
