Kinesiology for Children.
Today’s Children are under immense physical and emotional stress.
Their fragile little minds and bodies are exposed to a vast number of toxic chemicals and waste products in the environment on a daily basis.
Children also receive an overload of news and media information. They learn in an over-crowded, industrial-age schooling system that is not structured to accommodate each child’s unique abilities.
On top of this, children are often under societal pressure from an early age to conform to cultural and societal expectations, which has the potential to suppress their development as unique individuals.
Stress can prevent children from being able to fully express their true selves and develop and grow in an organic, unique and supported way.
Children grow up so much faster these days. With societal pressure and expectations comes stress which can manifest in the forms of:
- Learning difficulties
- Trouble connecting with peers and friends.
- Behavioural problems
- Fears and phobias
- Digestive problems
- Immune system problems (constant colds and illnesses)
- Anxiety and Depression
Kinesiology for Children
As experienced kinesiologists, we work with children to help get to the heart of the problems they are experiencing.
Kinesiology muscle testing is used to help determine where stress lies in the physical and energetic systems.
When we uncover the causes of emotional and behavioural issues we discuss these with your child on a level they can understand, to the degree to which they are comfortable to open up.
Parents are welcome to attend the sessions and can often help provide insight into the problems. If the child wants to discuss something privately then parents are asked to wait in the waiting area.
Our experience with children.
Michelle Fairweather has worked with children for over 19 years and has three of her own. She is able to work with children of all ages.
All children under 12 should start with a 1-hour standard session with Michelle. Children with attention concerns may be required for half hour follow-ups only, this will be assessed in the initial session.
Suggested treatment plan.
When treating an issue with the help of kinesiology we recommend:
- A standard 60-minute kinesiology consultation followed by 3 – 5 standard consultations 1 -2 weeks apart.
- Further follow-up standard consultations should be spaced between 2 -4 weeks apart or booked as needed.
