Can you use Kinesiology to Muscle Test yourself?

Can you kinesiology muscle test yourself

Why should I learn to muscle test myself?

The body can act as an amazing tool that can provide us with feedback in order to show us how we respond to stressful situations in life. Self muscle testing allows us to connect deeply with our innate intelligence and bypass our conscious processing. We are a culture focused on thinking, not feeling. Self muscle testing helps us to re-connect with the wisdom felt within the body.

Self-muscle testing is something I use when I find myself over analysing a situation and feeling disconnected from my body and my intuition. ~ Kristen Ross

What can I self muscle test for?

There are a number of things you can use self muscle testing to find out information about such as:

  • Does a particular situation cause me stress (which leads to ill health)
  • Which particular emotions that need to be resolved or diffused.
  • Is a certain food causing me stress
  • Which supplements to take
  • Which option is better

How do I self muscle test?

There are a number of options you can use for self muscle testing but the most commonly used one is the opponens pollicis (or finger loop test). Watch the video below to see how the finger loop test works.

If I can self muscle test why would I see a Kinesiologist?

The type of testing we do on ourselves is very basic and essentially you are looking only for indications of stress. A kinesiologist is trained in ore than just muscle testing. Kinesiologists have a strong understanding of vibrational medicine including Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine and other Vibrational techniques. Not only can they test muscles to decipher where stress is held in the body but they can also diffuse that stress so that you don’t continue to re-visit it.
